The Rooftop at Bell Tower: Tap 42’s Rooftop Bar in Fort Myers

Fort Myers evenings are made for being outside. Tap 42 Fort Myers opened at Bell Tower in May 2025, and upstairs is The Rooftop: a second-floor bar with string lights, lounge seating and views over Bell Tower, where US 41 meets Daniels Parkway.

What’s on the roof
The Rooftop has its own menu of craft cocktails, local brews and shareable bites, with a laid-back, social feel that works for the start or the end of a night out. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 pm to close.
- Rooftop happy hour: Wednesday through Friday, 5:30 to 7 pm
- Wednesday: live music from 7 pm
- Thursday through Saturday: DJs later in the evening
Lineups change, so check the Fort Myers Rooftop page for this week’s schedule before you head over.

Downstairs at Tap 42
The main restaurant opens for lunch at 11:30 am on weekdays, with burgers like The Prohibition and The Big Smash, bowls and shareables. There is weekday happy hour at the downstairs bar, bottomless brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and a covered patio with ceiling fans and woven pendant lights.

Around Bell Tower
The Regal Bell Tower 20 is a short walk away, so a drink on the roof pairs well with a movie, and the DoubleTree and Homewood Suites at Bell Tower are right in the center for hotel guests. Hammond Stadium, spring home of the Minnesota Twins, is about seven minutes away. Parking is in Bell Tower’s surface lots around the property.
