Between Nova Southeastern University, HCA Florida University Hospital and the colleges along College Avenue, Davie runs on busy schedules. Tap 42 Davie sits in Tower Shops at 2266 S University Drive, on the southeast corner of University Drive and I-595, a few minutes up the road from all of them.

Lunch that fits the schedule

Lunch starts at 11:30 am on weekdays. NSU’s main campus is about 1.8 miles south, roughly a seven-minute drive, and HCA Florida University Hospital is about 1.4 miles away. Broward College’s Central Campus and FAU Davie on College Avenue are about two miles from the door. Burgers like The Prohibition and The Big Smash, bowls and shareables work for a quick lunch or a longer team meal.

Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm at the bar:

  • $2 off craft beer
  • $3 off wine and craft cocktails
  • $4 off spirits

Bar bites like Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Short Rib Sliders and Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice are made for sharing, and the TVs keep the game on.

Monday Burger Bash

On Mondays from 4 pm to close, Burger Bash takes $5 off The Prohibition, The Big Smash or The Drunken Goat with fries when you order a drink (dine-in only). It is a good way to start the week after a long Monday on campus.

Weekend brunch

Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, bottomless brunch comes with $25 bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys and Andrews Avenue Lager. Grab a seat on the covered patio and make a morning of it.

Parking

Tower Shops has a large surface lot, about 2,560 spaces shared with neighbors like Trader Joe’s, Best Buy and Costco, so finding a space is rarely a problem.
