Where to Eat at Aventura Mall: Lunch, Happy Hour and Brunch at Tap 42

A day at Aventura Mall usually calls for a real meal. Tap 42 Aventura is on the mall’s upper level, in the newer wing overlooking the open-air piazza, and it has been part of Aventura Mall since 2019. Here is what to know before you go.

Lunch at Aventura Mall

Lunch starts at 11:30 am on weekdays and 11 am on weekends. The menu covers burgers like The Prohibition and The Big Smash, bowls such as the Grilled Salmon Zen Bowl and the California Chopped Chicken Bowl, salads, and shareables like Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice and Truffle Street Corn Guacamole. It works as a break between stores, a working lunch for the offices along Biscayne Boulevard, or a meal before a movie at the mall.

Happy hour in Aventura

Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm at the bar: $2 off craft beer, $3 off wine and craft cocktails, and $4 off spirits. The bar bites menu adds small plates like Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice and Short Rib Sliders.

The week has more to offer. On Mondays, Burger Bash takes $5 off The Prohibition, The Big Smash or The Drunken Goat with crispy fries when you order a drink, from 4 pm to close (dine-in only). On Wine Wednesday, bottles of wine are $20 off with the purchase of an entrée. See all weekly promotions.

Weekend bottomless brunch

Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, brunch brings dishes like Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles, Tres Leches French Toast and Chicago Style Steak & Eggs, plus $25 bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys and Andrews Avenue Lager.

Inside and out

Pick a tufted leather booth along the windows, a high-top near the copper-tiled bar, or a seat on the covered terrace. TVs over the bar keep the game on while you eat.

Getting here and parking

Tap 42 is on the upper level of Aventura Mall at Suite 1960. Parking in the mall’s garages is free, and paid valet is available at several mall entrances. Brightline’s Aventura station is just across Biscayne Boulevard, and HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, Mount Sinai’s Aventura campus and the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa are all a few minutes away.
