Passing through to Chicago from Carnival SunRise..... NEEDED FOOD. We decided to stop at Doral's Tap42. This Spot is 5 STARS ALL AROUND!!!!! I JUST HAD THE MOST PHENOMENAL CALAMARI EVER!!!!!! The Prohibition was just a great!!!!! We also had: The Hangover Shot, Sooooooooo Yummy!, a 3sons and a FunkyBuddha, which were equally as Yummy.
Nice cozy place. Was here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. Valet parked, which was pretty cheap and fast. Service was prompt and we were seated in no time. Had their house IPA, which was not too bitter, and quite refreshing and ordered done guacamole, which was served promptly and tasted great. For the entrée, I had the Fresh Mahi-Mahi and my wife had the prohibition burger. The mahi was great, very tender, not very fishy at all with a delicious sauce and a side of sweet plantains, which had its own sauce. The prohibition burger was cooked to the correct temperature and delicious. The fries were absolutely perfect.
Another great visit to Tap42, this time to the Doral location. Monday night's Prohibition Burger at 1/2 off is a bargain! We sat at the bar. Service was okay but i had to ask for cutlery and pepper. Normally service is top notch and they're getting everything ready for me before i even know i need it; not so tonight.
